Dear everyone,


Even though the New Year is far behind us, I hope you are all sticking to your New Year's resolutions of doing more yoga. Why not try something new, like the introduction into Second Series of Ashtanga Vinyasa or a Rope Class at Petra Yoga Studio.

Recently, yoga has received a lot of bad press in the media about how it is dangerous and how people get injured doing it. As with every physical activity, yoga can be dangerous if done incorrectly or if doing inappropriate poses for that particular person. However, if practised mindfully and without ambition, it will sustain you for a lifetime. Please read on to see my teacher, Aadil Palkhivala's response.

I am going to my hometown of Zagreb, Croatia from the 12th until the 16th February. During that time, you will be in the expert hands of fantastic Maja Kostrzewa. Enjoy!

The Hip Traction Series class will take you a step further from the hip series and it will provide all your hips need for the years to come.

The Birth Preparation Course for couples is designed with the birth partners in mind, so that on the big day they can be of best possible assistance to the mother.

You will love 2nd Series Ashtanga Introduction if you are already an Ashtanga practitioner. This class will show you that there is much more to Ashtanga yoga than what we usually do in group classes. Also, there are lot of fun and challenging poses which are guaranteed to keep you 'hooked' on this wonderful practice.

Please note that the Spine Regeneration class is not suitable for people with heart problems, high blood pressure, glaucoma and pregnant women. If you have any health issues, please consult me before booking a class.

The new addition is also Relax & Restorative class which is the perfect class if you are tired, stressed, overworked, or all of the above. In this class we will do about 3-4 restorative poses which we will hold for 10-20 minutes each. After the class you will feel rejuvenated and rested.

Besides group lessons, I will also continue to teach private lessons either at my studio or at clien't home/office.

There was an article "How Yoga Can Wreck Your Body" recently in the New York Times which triggered an avalanche of press related to the subject.
